(TURTLE) webpage! Our fourty year-old TURTLE (in Finnish: Turun yliopiston

The board of TURTLE will approve the application. Membership at the Unemployment Fund cannot be backdated. Membership begins from the day the applicant has signed the application form.
Membership fee:
In 2011 the membership fees are:
- 1,0% of gross income
- 6 eur/month for scholarship holders
- 6 eur/month for those members who are on maternity, paternity, or parental leave or on child care absence; who are doing their national service, or who are unemployed or students.
Since the membership fee is collected on a monthly basis, the unemployment benefits ensured by this membership (i.e. membership in the Unemployment benefit fund), will only be valid from the beginning of the month after you joined the Union. In case that your fee is deducted directly from the salary by written authorization, but it was not deducted on the following month of your validated membership, it is still possible to pay the first month's fee (1,0% of your gross income) to the Union account (details below).
If you are a scholarship holder, on maternity, paternity, or parental leave or on child care absence, an unemployed student member, etc., your membership fee is 6 eur per month. This payment will ensure you all the other benefits except for the membership in the Unemployment benefit fund. You should pay your fee to:
TIETEENTEKIJÖIDEN LIITTO
800012-70424535
The payment can be made e.g. in periods of three months. The information on the payment should contain the following details:
- your name
- your social security number
- the period that the fee will cover
- the number of our local organisation (181/014)
